Antonio was named in the 2019 Waikato squad and played 6 games for the Mooloos.

In 2020 he was named in the Tasman Mako squad for the NPC but missed the season with injury. He returned to play in 2021 after a strong club season with Stoke, playing 7 Mako matches including the Final, and a further 2 matches in 2022 before a shoulder injury ended his season.
