Tasman Makos Emerging Players Squad announced [TRU]

Tasman Rugby Union has announced its Emerging Players squad to participate in a pre-season 2 match tour to play Canterbury and Otago in ITM Cup warm up matches.

The 27 man squad comprises 11 returning Tasman Makos players and 16 rising stars from the Marlborough and Nelson Bays club competitions. Marlborough provides 9 players while 18 come from Nelson Bays.

The squad will play Canterbury in Glenmark on Wednesday 30 July at 3.00pm then Otago in Dunedin on Saturday 2 August at 1.00pm.

The 2014 Golden Edge Tasman Makos will be named on Monday 4 August. The full squad will then play a pre-season match against Manawatu at Trafalgar Park, Nelson on Thursday 7 August. Kick-off is scheduled for 5.30pm.
