POSITION VACANT: Crusader Academy - Tasman Coordinator

Crusader Academy-Tasman Coordinator
Full-time position
Nelson based

The Crusaders aim to build on our position as one of the leading and most respected rugby organisations in the world. The newly established Crusaders Rugby Academy has a vision to develop high performance professionals for the Crusaders, national teams and the All Blacks through high quality programming and support in rugby and personal development.

In line with this vision, we are seeking a Crusaders Academy Tasman Coordinator to manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Tasman site of the Crusaders Rugby Academy, and to assist with the coordination of talent identification and young player development programmes for the Crusaders in the Tasman region.

Building strong relationships through excellent communication skills, together with the ability to relate to a wide range of people is key to success in the role. You will have programme management skills and ideally have rugby coaching experience, or come from a high performance rugby background and have experience in the identification and development of young rugby players. You will have an understanding of the 6 pillars of development and will be able to add value and enhance players consistent with the organisation’s values.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the future of the Crusaders. Seldom do opportunities of this
nature arise. A position description is available on our website www.crusaders.co.nz. Please email your application, in confidence, to Raylene.palmer@crfu.co.nz or by post to Raylene Palmer, CRFU, PO Box 755, Christchurch by 5 December 2014.
