POSITION VACANT: Independent Board Director

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

The Tasman Rugby Union is seeking applications for the position of Independent Director to the Board. The Director is appointed for a period of 3 years at which point they must retire but may seek re-election.

The Board requires collective skills and experience in commerce, finance and marketing. Board members will also need to have effective decision-making skills, well developed relationship-management skills and sound judgement.

The Board is responsible for ensuring sound governance practices and processes, setting clear goals and measurable targets within the sport of rugby union in Tasman region, New Zealand.
