Loose forward Liam Squire has re-signed with the Highlanders.

Blockbusting loose forward Liam Squire has re-signed with the Highlanders and NZ Rugby for two more years.

According to a post on Twitter, Squire tells team-mate Joe Wheeler that he has some "exciting news".

"I have signed on with the Landers and the NZRU for another two more years," he said.

The Tasman Makos player joined the Highlanders in 2016 after two seasons with the Chiefs.

The 26-year-old made the All Blacks in 2016 and has played eight test matches.
