Wellington opened the scoring with a stunning try, Ayesha Leti-laga making the first of several line breaks before offloading to hooker Alicia Print who showed enough toe to go 25 metres and dot down.
Hayley Hutana kicked Tasman’s solitary points soon after but the Mako were completely outmuscled at the breakdown and the Pride quickly responded with two more tries.
Some sharp interplay saw Wellington begin to run riot late in the first, a stunning offload from captain and Black Fern Joanah Ngan-Woo giving her side a first half bonus point.
The Pride started to produce some champagne rugby stringing together some superb offloads as Ayesha Leti-liga heaped on the misery for the hosts.
As Tasman’s fatigue grew so did its injury toll, the halftime siren a welcome sound as the Pride took a commanding 31-3 lead.
Fullback Crystal Mayers defended bravely and shone for a Tasman side blown off the park.
The visitors picked up where they left off after oranges as blockbusting winger Ayesha Leti-liga scoring another screamer as Tasman had no answer for the pace and power of the Pride.
Leti-Linga powered over for a hat-trick before replacement Bernadette Robinson put Wellington in the eighties
Laupola powered through several would be tacklers to score the Pride’s fourteenth at the final whistle.
