Tasman Mako Faraha Palmer Cup Squad named

The Tasman Mako selectors announced their 2020 squad to contest the Farah Palmer Cup. The squad gathered on Tuesday evening for their induction meeting where the team’s goals and standards were presented by the coaches, management team and senior leadership group.
 
The Golden Bay Fruit Tasman Mako FPC squad is a balanced one of both youth and experience. Coach Mel Bosman outlined her 3-year vision for the team which is an exciting journey for all involved to embark upon.
 
The squad also appreciated the presence of Evan Heywood from Golden Bay Fruit who wished all involved an enjoyable 2020 campaign and their Full support over the next 3 years.
 

 
Tasman will compete in the recently adjusted 'southern pool' draw, against quality opposition: Canterbury, Wellington, Manawatu, Otago, and Hawke's Bay. Home games will be played at Lansdowne Park (vs Wellington, 12 Sep, 1pm), Trafalgar Park (vs Otago, 26 Sep, 11.35am), and Sports Park Motueka (vs Hawke's Bay, 4 Oct, 12pm). Finals to follow.
