I started playing when I was 5 years old for Carterton and played hooker.

I haven’t realised that yet.

Who in the Makos gives you the biggest grief and why?
Mitchell Scott because he keeps reminding me of my age. He reckons I’m over the hill. I think he secretly wants to be like me.
Who do you like to give grief to and why?
Kieron Fonotia for having the biggest and most cartoon-like head in the ITM Cup. And his lack of hygiene .. the worst room-mate ever!
Name any player in world rugby who you would most like to be like and why?
Christian Cullen the All Black fullback. I loved his speed, agility, strength and power.
What is the one thing that people don’t know about you?
I was born in the Wairarapa and lived there until I was 10 years old. I also lived in Italy for 3 years.
